In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Hemisphere Logistics; "you" means the person or organisation using this website.
2. Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
- introduce malware, or otherwise interfere with the proper working of the site;
- use automated means to scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, other than by search engines indexing the site in the ordinary way;
- submit false information, or submit another person's details without their authority; or
- reproduce, republish or exploit our content commercially except as section 5 allows.
We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, without notice, and we are not liable to you if the site is unavailable at any time.
3. This website does not set the terms of carriage
Important. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing here forms a contract for the transport, handling or storage of goods.
Any transport, forwarding, warehousing or related service we provide is governed exclusively by the separate contract documents that apply to that shipment — which may include our bill of lading, our standard trading conditions, our applicable tariff, and the mandatory international conventions that apply to the carriage. We will identify the applicable conditions to you in writing, and supply a copy on request, before we accept a booking.
Where anything on this website conflicts with those documents, those documents prevail.
4. Quotations and enquiries
Rates, transit times, capabilities, sailing frequencies and equipment specifications shown on this site are indicative and for general information only. They are not quotations and do not bind us.
A quotation is binding only when we issue it in writing for your specific shipment, and only on the terms and for the validity period stated in it. Every quotation is subject to our confirmation of the cargo details, equipment availability, and space — and to the trading conditions referred to in section 3.
When you send us shipment details through this site, you are asking us to prepare a quotation. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you tell us, including cargo description, weights and dimensions — we rely on it when we assess and price the shipment.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, images, photographs, video, diagrams, layout, design and code — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Coil-Tainer™ and the Hemisphere Logistics and Independent Container Line names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. The Coil-Tainer™ pallet system is protected by patent. Details of the relevant registrations are available from us on request.
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own internal business use in evaluating our services. You may not otherwise copy, adapt, distribute, publish or commercially exploit any part of it, and you may not remove any copyright or trademark notice, without our prior written permission.
6. Accuracy of information
We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we give no warranty that it is complete, accurate or up to date. Content is provided for general information and does not constitute technical, commercial, regulatory or legal advice. Before relying on anything here for a specific shipment — particularly cargo securing, weights, or regulatory matters — please confirm it with our team in writing.

This site links to websites operated by others, including our parent company and industry bodies. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy notices apply when you visit them.
8. Our liability for your use of this website
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

This section concerns your use of the website. Our liability as a carrier or forwarder for the goods themselves is dealt with exclusively by the documents referred to in section 3.

11. Governing law
These website terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Antwerp, Belgium have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Jurisdiction for the transport contracts themselves is set by the documents referred to in section 3 and may differ — particularly for US-connected trades. This clause governs the website only.
